Ferrarelle Sparkling Natural Mineral Water

There is something celebratory about pouring a glass of Ferrarelle: fine, lively bubbles and a clean, mineral finish that makes an ordinary meal feel like an Italian lunch.

From a volcanic source in Riardo. Ferrarelle comes from Riardo in Campania, southern Italy, where rain filters slowly through the volcanic rock of the ancient Roccamonfina volcano. On its long journey underground the water picks up its minerals and its natural effervescence, so it reaches the spring already sparkling. Ferrarelle has been bottled there since 1893.

At the table. Its gentle bubbles and slightly savoury, mineral taste suit rich and flavourful food: pizza and pasta, grilled fish, roast vegetables, aged cheeses, and a good espresso to finish. It also cleanses the palate between sips of wine.

Serving tip. Serve chilled at 8 to 10°C, in a tumbler, with a thin slice of lemon if you like.
